Seegnal Reports Second Quarter 2026 Financial Results and Provides Business Update

Expanded Israeli Hospital Footprint with Five-Year Deployment at Nazareth Hospital EMMS

Second Quarter Revenue Increased 15% to $351,000 and First Half Revenue Increased 16% to $706,000

CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Seegnal Inc. (TSXV: SEGN) (“Seegnal” or the “Company”), a developer of innovative healthcare technology focused on mitigating medication risks, today reported financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2026, and provided a corporate update.

Recent Business Highlights

  • Graduated from AARP Accelerator: In August 2026, Seegnal completed the eight-week Summer 2026 cohort of the AgeTech Collaborative™ from AARP Accelerator Program, as part of the Company’s U.S. market development activities. AARP is the largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization in the United States dedicated to empowering people 50 and older to choose how to live as they age.
  • Deepened Footprint in the Israeli Healthcare System: Seegnal continued to scale across the Israeli healthcare system, where its platform is used daily by more than 15,000 clinicians. In June 2026, the Company announced that it had signed a five-year agreement to deploy across Nazareth Hospital EMMS (approximately 424 physicians and nurses), adding to the Company’s existing multi-year deployment at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. In April 2026, its Israeli subsidiary, Seegnal eHealth Ltd., received the Gold Mark from the Standards Institution of Israel.
  • Non-Brokered Private Placement: On June 2, 2026, the Company announced a non-brokered private placement of up to C$1,300,000, which it subsequently extended until August 31, 2026 pursuant to a news release dated July 21, 2026, and which was further extended until September 30, 2026 pursuant to a news release dated August 26, 2026 (the “Extended Offering”). Additionally, the Extended Offering was upsized to up to C$1,850,000, comprising up to 6,607,143 units at C$0.28 per unit (each unit consisting of one common share and one common share purchase warrant exercisable at C$0.50 for 36 months). The Extended Offering is expected to close on or before September 30, 2026.

Financial Results for the Three and Six Months Ended June 30, 2026

All figures are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.   • Revenue was $351,000 for the three months ended June 30, 2026, an increase of 15% compared to $306,000 for the same period in 2025. For the six months ended June 30, 2026, revenue was $706,000, an increase of 16% compared to $609,000 for the same period in 2025.
  • Cost of revenues was $366,000 for the three months ended June 30, 2026, compared to $261,000 for the same period in 2025, resulting in a gross loss of $15,000 compared to a gross profit of $45,000. For the six months ended June 30, 2026, the Company reported a gross loss of $32,000 compared to a gross profit of $34,000 for the same period in 2025.
  • Research and development costs were $293,000 for the three months ended June 30, 2026, compared to $131,000 for the same period in 2025, and $530,000 for the six months ended June 30, 2026, compared to $249,000 for the same period in 2025.
  • Sales and marketing expenses were $73,000 for the three months ended June 30, 2026, compared to $167,000 for the same period in 2025, and $212,000 for the six months ended June 30, 2026, compared to $315,000 for the same period in 2025.
  • General and administration costs were $271,000 for the three months ended June 30, 2026, compared to $335,000 for the same period in 2025, and $860,000 for the six months ended June 30, 2026, compared to $618,000 for the same period in 2025.
  • Net loss for the three months ended June 30, 2026 was $765,000, or $(0.02) per share, a decrease of approximately 11% compared to a net loss of $857,000, or $(0.13) per share, for the same period in 2025. For the six months ended June 30, 2026, net loss was $1,813,000, or $(0.04) per share, compared to $1,650,000, or $(0.25) per share, for the same period in 2025.
  • Cash Position and Financing: As of June 30, 2026, the Company had cash of $181,000 (December 31, 2025: $678,000) and trade receivables of $237,000. The Company continues to report operating losses and negative cash flow from operations. As further described in the MD&A and the notes to the Company’s financial statements, the continuance of the Company’s operations is subject to continued financing from shareholders and other investors, which represents a material uncertainty that may cast significant doubt on the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern. In June 2026, the Company announced a non-brokered private placement, which was subsequently extended in July and August 2026 to up to C$1,850,000, expected to close on or before September 30, 2026.
